Welcome to the studio! If you're a horn player who is interested in developing your skills in an environment where process is just as important as product, my studio may be the right place for you. I am glad to pass on the diverse musical knowledge that I have gained over the years. Lessons are available for beginners to advanced musicians with varying lengths of lessons dependent on age, level and personality.
Horn Lessons Students of all ages and levels are welcome. I am in the process of developing a method book series for the young beginner, employing some of the best techniques in music and horn education. I specialize in meeting the student at their ability and expanding both their skill set and comfort levels with a wide range of tools at their disposal. As a faculty member at Towson University, I'm well-equipped to prepare high school students for college and conservatory entrance. Piano Lessons* *I am not currently accepting piano students at this time My students are engaged in learning with a solid foundation of technique, effective lesson methods and a healthy dose of fun. For my young beginners, I'm pleased to offer both group and individual lessons. The group classes have a maximum of 4 students and we flow through a series of activities in a fun atmosphere. I offer a week-long quick start program for my individual students immerse them in the experience of playing and practicing. I prefer that young students are able to read fluently before beginning studies. For intermediate and advanced students, I'm excited to offer Royal Conservatory Music Development program, a recognised national standard of sequentially graded repertoire, technique and theory.
